Opening Ceremony

The program of this congress will commence with a solemn and prestigious Opening Ceremony, followed by keynote lecture and a variety of sessions through which veterinarians and researchers from around the world will share the latest knowledge and future perspectives. At the Opening Ceremony, distinguished guests, including ministers from relevant government agencies (to be confirmed), will be invited. Through opening remarks by the organizers and addresses by the guests, the significance and objectives of the congress will be communicated to an international audience.

Throughout the congress, a diverse range of academic and professional programs will be presented, including keynote lectures designed to promote interdisciplinary dialogue.
This will serve as an important opportunity for Japan to once again convey the significance of the One Health approach to the international community.

Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony, marking the conclusion of the congress, will feature summary remarks by Dr. John de Jong, President of the World Veterinary Association (WVA), and Dr. Isao Kurauchi, President of the Japan Veterinary Medical Association and President-Elect of the WVA. The ceremony will also include the official handover to Mexico, the host country of the WVAC 2027, along with a presentation of perspectives on the future direction of upcoming congresses.
